Students in Grades 1-5 had a real treat yesterday! Author Jim Aylesworth captivated our students with the story of his career as a writer and teacher. His sense of humor and combination of story telling and song had the children and adults in snitches!As Mr. Aylesworth described his journey as an author of 32 books (so far), he described his inspirations, his writing process, and read snippets of several of his works. Highlights included the stories about his own First Grade students, the sing along with Old Black Fly and Our Abe Lincoln and the students questions.
